Privacy at Thiup
The short version: we can't lose what we never collect.
What we never ask for
No name, no email, no phone number, no password, no contact list, no precise location. You are a pseudonymous mask from the first second, so your real identity never enters the system — not at sign-up (there is none), not later.
What the app works with
A mask derived from your connection (a short @id and a generated avatar), the language you write in, and — only if you turn on nearby threads — a deliberately blurred area covering many kilometers. That blur is applied on your device: your precise location never leaves it.
What we don't do
No ads, no trackers, no analytics profiles, no selling data. Threads, searches and profiles are kept out of search engines, and shared links always preview as the Thiup brand card — never your words. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
